abstract = {The Parsed Gothenburg Edition of the Dutch C-CLAMP is a syntactically annotated version of the Dutch C-CLAMP corpus, which contains Dutch-language periodicals from Belgium and the Netherlands published between 1837 to 2000. The corpus was automatically parsed using the Alpino parser and enriched with meta-annotations that, among other things, normalize historical spelling variants. As a result, the proportion of sentences that could be successfully syntactically analyzed increased from 78% to 84%. The corpus is a valuable resource for large-scale research on the syntactic structure of Dutch, and particularly into the historical development of verb constructions. The digital resource is available for download at the Instituut voor de Nederlanse Taal (Dutch Language Institute).},
