The Centre for Language Technology (CLT) workshop brings together the language technology research community in Gothenburg for a full day at Humanisten. The workshop provides a forum for exchanging research ideas while strengthening the field’s presence and increasing the visibility of language technology in Gothenburg.
A preliminary schedule is planned around three main sessions:
9:00-9:10 Welcome
9:10-12:00 PhD students and postdocs (including fika break)
12:00-13:00 Lunch for registered participants
13:00-16:00 Research projects (including fika break)
16:00-17:00 Research, teaching, and research infrastructure
18:00-21:00 Dinner for registered participants
The workshop is funded by he Faculty of Humanities and is organised by four departments:
- Språkbanken Text (SBX) at the Department of Swedish, multilingualism, language technology,
- The Centre for Linguistic Theory and Studies in Probability (CLASP) at the Department of Philosophy, Linguistics and Theory of Science (FLoV)
- The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
- The department of Applied Information Technology (AIT) (both at the IT Faculty).
