Welcome to digital text analysis - drop in!

27 January 2026
Are you a student or researcher interested in analyzing texts or video material using digital methods, language technology, language models, and AI? Perhaps you’re considering starting a research project using digital methods, learning how research tools can be used, or visualizing your results, but are not quite sure how to proceed?

You’re welcome to get advice on which methods and digital tools you can use from researchers and experts in digital humanities and language technology. During the spring semester, the Gothenburg Research Infrastructure in Digital Humanities (GRIDH) and Språkbanken Text organize text-analytic and language-focused drop-in sessions one Wednesday each month.

Wednesdays:

  • 21 January
  • 18 February
  • 18 March
  • 22 April
  • 20 May
  • 17 June

Time 10:15-11:00 (GRIDH), 11:15-12 (Språkbanken Text)

Room C360, Humanisten, or online via this zoom link.

The drop-in sessions are followed by Språkbanken’s Lunch and Learn sessions from 12–13 in the guest dining hall at Humanisten.

The text-analytic drop-in sessions are organized with support from the Swedish Research Council’s national research infrastructures Huminfra and Språkbanken.
